When Christian Givers was announced as the winner of a $5 million dollar contract from the Christian Diversified Co., the company said it would donate a $10,000 gift to the university of Texas, the university announced Monday.

In the video announcing the honor, Christian Diggins says he was honored to be a part of the organization and has had the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those around him, especially those who are struggling.

The university said it plans to use the money to help the campus create a scholarship program and fund a scholarship to a local college student.

Texas Christian University is one of the top 10 universities in the country, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education.
